Southfield, Mich.—January 5, 2023—Clayton & McKervey, a certified public accounting and consulting firm helping growth-driven companies compete in the global marketplace, has promoted Senior Accountants Ben Finzel and Cody Peyok to Managers, effective January 1, 2023. The announcement was made by Clayton & McKervey President Rob Dutkiewicz.
Ben Finzel, CPA has been promoted to Manager on the Private Client Services team. He has been with the firm for four years and started out his career on the tax team. Ben provides tax, accounting, estate planning and consulting services to growth-driven entrepreneurs and high-net worth individuals. His specialties include various aspects of income tax preparation, compliance, and trust/estate planning. This Ferndale resident received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Alma College.
Cody Peyok, CPA has been promoted to Manager on our Advisory & Assurance team. Joining the firm in 2018, Cody manages financial audits, reviews and compilations for closely held businesses, including project planning, oversight, execution and reporting. He helps clients navigate industry changes and work more effectively by implementing and adhering to new accounting standards. Cody received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and currently resides in Madison Heights. He is also involved in the firm’s community outreach committee.
