The announcement of the promotions was made by Clayton & McKervey President Rob Dutkiewicz, CPA, and includes the following:
Senior Manager Promotions
Casey Haggerty, CPA, MST, was promoted to senior manager within the firm’s tax department. He supports clients with their tax planning strategies and has experience working with the various tax aspects of trust and estate planning. Casey is well-versed in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals. The Troy resident received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Hillsdale College and Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College.
Bryan Powrozek, CPA, CGMA, MBA, was promoted to senior manager within the firm’s industrial automation sector. He supports domestic and international manufacturing and industrial automation clients with Research & Experimentation Tax Credits and accounting services. The Bloomfield Hills resident received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan, Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy, and Post-Master Certificate in Accounting from Oakland University.
Nina Wang, CPA, was promoted to senior manager in the firm’s tax department. With expertise in international tax, she supports domestic businesses and foreign-owned entities with parent companies in Europe, North America, and Asia. Fluent in Mandarin, Nina is a main point of contact for the firm’s robust China practice. The Troy resident received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Baruch College and has a U.S. International Tax Certificate from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Manager Promotions
Katie Blake, CPA, was named manager in the tax department working in the manufacturing, financial services, consulting, and training industries. She specializes in multistate and international tax planning and compliance for C Corporations, pass-through entity taxation, closely held corporate tax strategies, deferred tax calculations, and individual tax planning. The Grosse Pointe resident received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan–Dearborn.
Catherine Praet, CPA, was named manager in the international practice, and supports inbound foreign companies with the planning, start-up, and growth phases of their business. The Birmingham resident earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Accountancy from Wayne State University.
