Clayton & McKervey announced it is one of the honored recipients of the 2019 Walsh College Foundation Leadership Awards.  The firm will be presented with the President’s Award for Outstanding Partner in Education on Thursday, October 10, at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan, for its long-standing relationship as an academic advocate of the business and technology programs at Walsh College.

“We hold Walsh College in high regard and are thrilled to be acknowledged for having an impact on Walsh graduates who move on to successful careers in accounting, business and technology,” Rob Dutkiewicz, Clayton & McKervey president, said. “The firm knows firsthand about the many benefits of a Walsh College education.”

In addition to Dutkiewicz, who has a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Walsh College, four other shareholders have MSTs, and firm co-founder and Chairman Emeritus Donald Clayton holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Walsh College.  The firm is proud to employ nearly 20 Walsh alum.

The annual Leadership Awards Dinner recognizes business and community leaders, distinguished alumni, and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to Walsh College. The event also benefits Walsh’s Leadership Awards Scholarship and Jeffery W.
