With Clayton & McKervey completing its 2017 fiscal year in August, I have been reflecting on the past 12 months. What stands out the most is the quality of the people Clayton & McKervey has the opportunity to work with.
Our clients are truly a pleasure to work with. Partnering with people with passion for their business, and being a part of their growth, gives us great satisfaction. It is an absolute privilege to help guide the tax and accounting needs of our clients. We value the trust you place in us and thank you for your business.
Our employees continue to amaze me. The beginning years of an accountant are spent learning all aspects of the trade. It is remarkable to see developments in our team’s passion to help our clients succeed through their commitment to client service and ongoing skill development. Over the past year we’ve been able to move staff members to seniors and seniors to managers due to this steady growth. We’ve also been pleased to add to the team through our steady campus recruiting efforts. It’s a joy to work with this group of professionals.
And our friends in the community – the many economic developers, educators, banking and legal professionals, consultants and more – continue to humble me. These colleagues are invaluable to our success as they connect us to opportunities and relationships that are vital to our firm’s growth. The affirmation from the business community is a tremendous source of pride for all of us.
So as we work through the plans to shape 2018 I wanted to pause for just a moment to thank everyone who supported the firm, and me personally, over the past year.
