Earlier this month, my colleagues and I spent the better part of a day in hard work, enduring bee bites, getting nicked and cut, developing sore backs and knees and, when it was all said and done, we all were covered from head to toe in dirt and grime. Now, this certainly doesn’t sound like much fun, does it? On the contrary, it was a blast.
I am describing our experience on August 9, in which are entire firm spent a day in community service working with the Detroit non-profit Life Remodeled, helping to clean up the back alleys on the west side of Detroit. We were just one of several organizations who closed their place of work to contribute to this project. I am sure that the entire team would agree it was a terrific way for us to spend our day. We are very proud to have lent a helping hand for such a meaningful cause. A big thank you to the entire Life Remodeled team for their dedication and work in organizing such a terrific event!
