A few weeks ago I traveled to Rome, along with my fellow shareholder Sue Tuson, to attend the PrimeGlobal World Conference. PrimeGlobal is one of the five largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world.  Collectively, the member firms offer a full range of services and industry expertise to meet our client’s needs. This conference, held every two years, in where we bring together members from all around the globe to share best practices and develop personal connections.  With our focus on providing solutions to client challenges, including international tax and accounting issues, maintaining an active participation in PrimeGlobal is an important element to our client service strategy.  The firm’s shareholders regularly travel to PrimeGlobal conferences tailored to a specific topic or global region to build and maintain critical relationships.  In addition, by stepping up to take an active role in the organization, we get access to ideas from industry thought leaders and best practices.  PrimeGlobal also provides valuable technical and soft skill training to help our staff expand their skills to help our clients.  I’m proud to serve on the board of an organization that gives so much back to the accounting profession.

With M&A activity soaring in the U.S., we have been involved in dozens of deals involving U.S. entities with Mexican subsidiaries.
