Rob Dutkiewicz, president of Clayton & McKervey, a certified public accounting and business advisory firm helping closely held businesses compete in the global marketplace, has joined the North America Board of Directors of PrimeGlobal, one of the five largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world. As a board member, Dutkiewicz will help foster access to best practices, business opportunities, professional networking and accounting expertise for PrimeGlobal’s 63 member firms in the North American Region.

Dutkiewicz joined Clayton & McKervey in 1988 and became president in 2016. Devoted to providing proactive and specialized knowledge on the domestic and international tax and accounting issues impacting global companies, he’s made it a priority to understand the needs of business owners both in the U.S. and abroad. As such, Dutkiewicz works in close collaboration with domestic and European chambers of commerce, business associations and economic developers dedicated to supporting business growth. These mutually rewarding relationships provide him with an opportunity to help business owners maximize their goals for expansion and profitability.

Dutkiewicz holds his Masters of Science in Taxation from Walsh College in Troy, Mich., and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oakland University, Rochester, Mich., where he currently serves on the OU School of Business Administration Board of Visitors. In April, Dutkiewicz was named “Business Information Professional of the Year” by the OU chapter of Beta Alpha Psi for his expertise and involvement within the accounting, finance and information systems professions.

Dutkiewicz is active in a number of professional and civic organizations. He is board treasurer of the British American Business Council, past president of the Association for Corporate Growth, and a member of the Detroit Chamber of Commerce and the German-American Chamber of Commerce. He is also secretary of the board of Cornerstone Health High & Technology School and treasurer of the board of Leonardo International.
