Southfield, Mich.—February 17, 2021—Clayton & McKervey, a certified public accounting and business advisory firm helping growth-driven companies compete in the global marketplace, is excited to announce The Sound of Automation, a monthly podcast series for the Industrial Automation sector.

“With the rise of Industry 4.0 and importance of data analytics, we had the idea of starting a podcast to provide valuable insights and help businesses free up cash flow, maximize R&D credits, and grow their industrial automation businesses,” Shareholder Tim Finerty, CPA and leader of the firm’s industrial automation practice said.

The Sound of Automation features Industrial Automation Senior Manager Bryan Powrozek, engineer turned CPA, as he interviews influencers in the industrial automation space and offers tips on everything from taxes and finances to data and transactions.

Episodes will generally be about 30 minutes long and each will focus on a relevant topic impacting the industrial automation industry, such as:

  • Remote Working
  • Scheduling + Billable Time
  • Succession Planning and Transition
  • Digital Transformation
  • Tax Credits
  • Analytics and KPIs
  • Acquisition
  • The Value of Associations
  • Fraud + Internal Audit

“We’ve been writing blogs and publishing articles on these topics for quite some time, but we understand how busy people are,” Finerty said. “With this new series, you can download the podcast right to your phone or laptop and listen to it while you’re driving out to a client or on your way home.”

Industrial automation businesses are the driving force behind Industry 4.0, and Clayton & McKervey is here to help through their new podcast, The Sound of Automation.
