Southfield, Mich.—October 8, 2021—Clayton & McKervey, a certified public accounting and business advisory firm helping growth-driven companies compete in the global marketplace, is pleased to announce two senior accountants have been promoted to managers effective September 1. The announcement of the promotions was made by Clayton & McKervey President Rob Dutkiewicz, CPA, and includes the following:
Angela Liu, CPA, was promoted to manager within the firm’s Advisory & Assurance practice. She supports privately held domestic and international businesses with audits, reviews and compilations using U.S. GAAP, FRF for SMEs and other international reporting frameworks. Fluent in Mandarin, Angela also supports the firm’s robust China practice. She enjoys collaborating with team members and clients to help businesses grow. This Royal Oak resident received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
Ryan Lavoie, CPA, was also promoted to manager within the firm’s Advisory & Assurance practice. He supports closely held businesses with financial reviews, compilations and tax returns. Ryan has also played an integral role in assisting clients with government loan forgiveness. His favorite part of the job is helping entrepreneurial business owners solve their unique business challenges and achieve their growth goals. Ryan received his Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He resides in Berkley.
