Day 1

The first thing that attracted me to C&M was the positive and welcoming attitude of all the staff members. Whoever I spoke to was extremely helpful and helped me understand more about what a profession in public accounting is like. C&M is everything that I expected and more. Everyone is willing to help and truly want to help you succeed.

Just being here for one week, I already have several people that I can go to with questions or concerns about certain topics. The culture here at C&M is very hands-on, which makes the learning process much more enjoyable.  One of the things that surprised me was how relaxed the firm is. Being new can be a bit stressful, but the attitude and friendly faces at the firm make being new much easier.

I am looking forward to so much these next few months as a tax intern at C&M.  One of the biggest things I am looking forward to is being able to learn as much as I can, while having knowledgeable individuals training and teaching me along the way.

One Month

It’s hard to believe that a whole month has already passed while I have been a tax intern at C&M! My experience at C&M has been nothing but positive. I have learned so much and had some great training, feedback, and support from all the staff here (including managers and shareholders).

What I like best about working at C&M is being able to learn real-life applications and concepts, while having such great teams training me. Everyday I come across something different and have the opportunity to learn something new. It truly is a great experience for a college student like myself.

One memorable moment I have is when one of shareholders came out of her office to help me with an assignment I was working on. That showed me that this firm truly cares about your success and it doesn’t matter whether you’re an intern or full time staff. You are treated, trained, and welcomed like all others. It is great coming into work knowing that is the kind of attitude the firm honors.
